Charity begins at home

Changing style doesn’t have to mean hitting the shops. Buying second-hand clothing also saves money.

Now a Vienna-based startup has developed an app, which allows charity retailers and vintage stores to upload their second-hand stock to selected platforms with greater efficiency.

Just supply a photo, and an AI detects the shape and colour of the item to be sold, as well as removing unwanted background details and adapting the lighting. It also provides a short description and accurate market price.

Items can even be worn by a virtual model. The process takes less than a minute, with items available for sale online at the touch of a button.

A gaming approach can also support brick-and mortar stores and their clients.
