A young man became a major UK TV channel’s first presenter with Down’s Syndrome, while diverse authors can improve their income with games.
Now, an organisation from the US has chosen to focus on supporting artists with disabilities, helping them, among other things, to market their work.
The programme offers participants the chance to develop their practice under the guidance of professionals.
Resulting works are being exhibited in affiliated galleries – and sometimes even worldwide. All of which helps generate additional income.
A parallel aim of the organisation is to increase the standing of this diverse and inventive group, as well as providing opportunities for members to work in local spaces or on joint community projects.
Creativity without limits.
