Diversity & Ethics

Video games programmed by women or based on stories written by diverse creatives make our world more colourful.

Now an organisation is campaigning to allow people with disabilities the chance to forge a Hollywood career.

Disabled screenwriters with initial experience can apply for a grant to cover living costs and become part of a spiritually akin writing community.

Included in the programme: workshops on screenwriting and marketing, as well as mentoring and feedback on works in progress.

The organisation is also calling on the industry as a whole to provide more opportunities for the disabled community, who are known for their sensitivity and creativity.

It’s showtime – minus the unspoken rules on gender, skin colour and physical appearance.
