According to studies, a third of LGBTIQ+ workers feel discriminated against, while a fifth feel their career opportunities are limited.
Now, for the first time, a German company known for its work with the community, has published the Pride-Index.
The list of 77 corporations and mid-sized companies is based on responses to a 75-question survey on the theme of LGBTIQ+ in the workplace.
The results are encouraging. Still, we’re not there yet.
Companies on the hunt for talent should know: for the young LGBTIQ+ workforce, acceptance in their first job means more than salary.
