From 2022, French citizens will be able to access therapy sessions free of charge so long as they have a medical prescription.

The scheme will make it possible for those on low incomes to obtain the right treatment. According to statistics, those currently most in need of mental support are students and the unemployed.

Thanks to this blood test, meanwhile, it may soon be possible to predict depressive episodes.
