Good advice doesn’t have to be expensive.

‘Aunties’ play an important role in Afro-American culture because they have such a wealth of experience.

Which is why a woman from Philadelphia is working on an app which allows women and girls to make contact with them.

Once contact is made, Aunties can offer life advice, counselling or simply act as confidants. They don’t have to be relatives, they don’t even need to be significantly older.

Anyone interested in deep conversations or making profound connections can use the app’s dashboard to find their perfect aunt.

A chat function is also planned so that users can access the service quickly if required. The intergenerational platform is slated to go online from 2022.
