Playful circulation

Art & Leisure

Some toys are rightfully unwanted.

The multi-coloured building blocks manufactured by a Danish firm, however, have given children and grown-ups joy for decades.

But when themed sets are dismantled and the bricks get mixed up, that enjoyment can be lost. Enter an independent Lithuanian startup and its new service for used and undamaged original bricks.

The team will first clean and then sort bricks sent by individual customers. An AI analyses which sets are restorable. If fewer than 10% of bricks are missing, these can be re-ordered alongside.

Leftover bricks are sorted by colour. A circular economy approach to bring joy back into play for owners. Or potentially their colleagues?

In London, a team is looking after neglected cuddly toys.
