Sometimes a little encouragement is only a telephone call away. An online course, meanwhile, helps increase happiness.

A Berlin startup developed an app to encourage school students to say nice things about their peers. After registering, contacts can be added from users’ phones or manually by app.

Each time users log in, they receive 12 questions, i.e. who motivates them, and for each can choose from 4 different suggestions.

The person selected receives an anonymous message and can see only the sender’s gender and form class.

The initiative, developed to improve students’ psychological well-being, is a hit with more than 300,000 teenagers already – and investors like it too.

Emotional intelligence can also be improved through an app.
