For a beach holiday we search for a hotel overlooking the sea.
People with limited mobility, however, don’t always know what awaits them on site. Now a startup from Italy is aiming to change that with its tailored search engine.
So far, users can carry out an Italy-wide search for accommodation, offices or cuisine that meet specific requirements regarding mobility.
Filters gear results towards groups of all kinds, such as wheelchair users, those with cognitive difficulties, vegans, or pregnant women.
The website, which is still under development, wants to make sure that travellers’ needs, whatever they are, are met.
Once complete, it could prove the ideal accompaniment to the Global Disability Rights Map.
Buona giornata.
