Mobility

Working out of an office has had its day for many. But moving around as digital nomads should be done sustainably.

Which is why a group of Dutch students has developed a new all-electric mobile home. When stationary, a rising roof creates a standing height of 2.54m and space for two to sleep.

The unit comes with a TV, laptop, boiler and kitchen utensils. All necessary energy is generated by solar collectors installed on the roof, which can extend to a maximum span of 17.5 m².

On a sunny day, the camper’s range can touch 730 km. A prototype is currently en route to Spain from the Netherlands, travelling at a maximum speed of 120 km/h.
