The motorised mini-robot is controlled remotely by medical staff using a joystick. All that’s required is an internet connection.
LEDs in the capsule provide the necessary light, and the video images recorded by its camera are broadcast in real time. An in-depth evaluation is possible for 30 minutes. Further clinical tests are currently underway.
These mini-robots, meanwhile, are used in detailed pulmonary examinations.Â
