A Lithuanian startup has developed a mobile device, which moves people from a sitting to a standing position at the touch of a button.
The equipment is self-balancing and controlled by upper body movements – or by smartphone. Shock absorbers aim to ensure a comfortable ride.
The top speed is 20 km/h over a range of 30 km and the battery is fully rechargeable inside four hours. The saddle and leg support are tailored to individual body sizes.
Ideal partner? A smart sensor mat perhaps. Has upgrade potential at the airport.
