A startup from Holland is aiming to create the first all-electric commuter aircraft by 2030.

Their 44-seater plane is powered by 8 propeller engines, takes off thanks to an output of 8700 kW and has a range of 550km.

Rapid recharging at the terminal occurs within 35 minutes. Range could even improve to 1,000km by 2040.

Yearly replaced batteries enjoy a second life as part of the company’s recharge system. Initial test flights are planned in around 5 years.

This modern design could likewise make air traffic more sustainable.
