Video calls are easy with special cards. Meaning people who struggle with technology feel less isolated.
Now an Australian startup’s app is focusing on another group, enabling neurodivergent, chronically sick or disabled people to connect with those in similar situations.
The first priority is safety. After entering personal information and interests into their profile (which can be made private) users are provided with possible matches.
Chats can then be carried out in public or in private. A daily status function allows users to say how they are feeling and helps them start a journal. An option to remove posts containing trigger words is in planning.
Others are helping the neurodivergent community to find jobs – or love.
