A community is helping stateless people overcome personal and professional challenges. In modern-day Canada only around 1% of Indigenous peoples work in the technical sector.

Now, a not-for-profit organisation in Vancouver is aiming to change that, harnessing the culture and knowledge of British Columbia’s 204 First Nations to create new technological solutions.

Enhancing access to the economy and politics plus the right to self-govern on matters such as land and natural resources.

Alongside improving internet connectivity, the programme provides research knowledge, courses to develop computer skills, and highlights both job vacancies in the digital sector and the necessary qualifications.

Support is also available for job applications and obtaining apprenticeships. Future founders even have the chance to appear on television.
