Clever masters

Technology

Films like Terminator or I, Robot have explored the possibility that technology created by humans might one day turn against us.

Now, with its Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence Ethics, Cambridge University aims to teach professionals – engineers, politicians, HR employees – how to use AI for good.

By creating an awareness of the risks and challenges the technology presents in the workplace (clue: a robot uprising is not one), the program should ensure that professional or political injustices compounded by AI are a thing of the past.

The degree will help to create a bridge between research and real-world application, with an onus on how to use the technology responsibly.

Hasta la vista!
