Now an Indian research unit has developed a sophisticated ring-shaped robot that gives this small force of skilled workers a hand.
Slower perhaps but possessing greater stamina, the robot is controlled by joystick and safely operated from the ground, meaning more coconuts are harvested and fewer lives lost.
