10,000 steps is no problem on a sunny May afternoon. It’s easy to measure too, with health apps that track our pulse rate and more.
Still, for those with allergies, flowers or dust can mean reaching for the inhaler. Findings show that 90% of inhaler users could use their appliance better.
In response, a startup has developed a smart solution: an app and a cap fitted with a sensor.
The inhaler cap sends information to the app in real time, on, e.g. whether inhalers are shaken long enough, held correctly or users are inhaling the right amount.
Reports can be sent from the app directly to doctors to draw up health plans. Helpful.
